UChicago’s Office of College Admissions offers group visit experiences for high schools, educational programs, community-based organizations, and extracurricular groups working with high school students in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade, and this year, there are more ways to connect with UChicago than ever before!
On a virtual visit to UChicago, groups can either choose to take part in a wide selection of prescheduled Virtual Events—which include information sessions led by UChicago admissions counselors, model classes taught by UChicago professors, student panels, and special topic information sessions—or they can request a private Virtual Group Visit just for them!
Private group visits can be scheduled Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm CDT. Before registering, please determine which type of event your group would like to attend:
- Information Session (1 hour)
- Join a UChicago Admissions Counselor for a live virtual information session covering the college admissions process, application essay writing, and letters of recommendation, as well as scholarships, financial aid, academic programs, extracurricular activities, and campus life at UChicago.
- Campus Tour (1 hour)
- Join current students as they highlight important places on UChicago's campus and share stories about their social and academic experiences as a UChicago student. Bring your questions and get ready for some fun!
- Information Session and Tour (2 hours)
- Join a UChicago Admissions Counselor and a current UChicago student for a combined session highlighting the college admissions process, financial aid, and UChicago's campus.
Additional details to note for a Virtual Group Visit:
- All visits will be conducted via Zoom. Time will be saved at the end for an interactive Q&A session.
- Please complete the Virtual Group Visit request form at least three weeks in advance of your requested date.
- One adult is expected to attend and stay through the full visit with each group.
- Visits will not be recorded.
- Participation in a Virtual Group Visit is limited to current high school students.
- After submitting this form, you will receive an acknowledgment of submission. This is not confirmation of a reservation. You should receive notification within 3 business days to either confirm or clarify your reservation.
