Joshua Monroe

Born and raised in rural Northern Michigan, Joshua enlisted in the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician in 2012, where he served with distinction for eight and a half years. After graduating from technical training at the top of his class, he served for three years as a radar and navigation systems technician aboard USS Stethem, forward-deployed with Destroyer Squadron 15 to Yokosuka, Japan. He spent the remainder of his career at Naval Special Warfare in Coronado, CA, serving as a tactical radio and network communications specialist, deploying with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Arabian Sea and with SEAL Team 3 to the Indo-Pacific region.
