Tours & Information Sessions

The College Admissions Office offers information sessions and walking tours of campus year-round. Visitors are welcome on campus any day of the year, and the Admissions Office is open Monday through Friday year-round, as well as on Saturday mornings in the spring, summer, and fall. Additionally, special events for prospective students are offered throughout the year.

Prospective Student Tours

For individuals or students with families and guardians.

Group / Class Tours

For class groups or groups of more than 20 people.

Tours depart from the Admissions Office, Rosenwald Hall, located just to the southeast of the center circle on the Main Quadrangles. During regular visitor hours, look for the maroon and white flags.

  • The University of Chicago’s official prospective student tours and information sessions are offered free of charge and are open to all grades and ages.
  • Walk-ins are welcome, but please register in advance if you are able.
  • Schools, extracurricular groups, and community organizations please register separately as a group tour.
  • Students may schedule an interview here.
